1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Study Genius AI mobile application ("App") operated by Hatolabs Kids ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Study Genius AI is a mobile application that allows users to:

Upload documents (PDFs, images, Word files) for AI processing
Generate AI-powered flashcards and quizzes from uploaded materials
Create and manage study materials manually
Track study progress and quiz results
Earn credits through rewarded ads or in-app purchases

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. User Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all documents, images, and other content you upload to the App ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display it for the purpose of providing the App's services.

4.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:

You own or have the right to use and share the content
Your content does not violate any third-party rights
Your content does not contain illegal, harmful, or objectionable material

5. Credits and Payments

5.1 Credit System

AI-powered features require credits. Credits can be earned by watching rewarded advertisements or purchased through in-app purchases.

5.2 In-App Purchases

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or platform policies.

5.3 Credit Expiration

Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.

5.4 Subscription Plans

We offer the following auto-renewable subscription plans that provide monthly credits:

Basic Plan - 100 credits per month
Standard Plan - 300 credits per month
Premium Plan - 1,000 credits per month

Subscription terms:

Subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew unless cancelled
Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

5.5 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. After your subscription expires, you will no longer receive monthly credits, but any unused credits in your account will remain available. No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the App
Interfere with the App's security or functionality
Create multiple accounts to abuse the credit system
Use automated tools to interact with the App
Share your account with others

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, content, and trademarks, is owned by Hatolabs Kids and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. AI-Generated Content

Flashcards and quizzes generated by AI are based on your uploaded materials. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose. You should review and verify generated content before relying on it for educational purposes.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HATOLABS KIDS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Unused credits are forfeited upon termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hatolabs Kids is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
